The above information is either entered manually by the user or automatically created from supported financial SMS messages after permission is granted.

SMS Permission

Sumptify requests SMS permission solely to provide automatic transaction tracking, which is one of the core features of the application.

If permission is granted, the application reads only financial transaction SMS such as:

• Bank Transaction Messages
• UPI Payment Messages
• Credit Card Transaction Messages
• Wallet Transaction Messages

The information is used only to:

• Automatically create expense entries
• Automatically create income entries
• Categorize transactions
• Calculate budgets
• Generate spending reports
• Provide financial insights

Sumptify does not read personal conversations or use SMS data for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

Granting SMS permission is optional. Users can continue using the application by manually adding transactions.
